      What is the difference between a portable changing room and a modular changing room building?

      A portable changing room is typically a single container unit, moved into place as one piece. A modular changing room building links several units together, so schools, clubs and leisure centres can build a larger facility with multiple changing areas from the same container system.

      Can EcoMod supply a shower and WC unit alongside a changing room order?

      Yes. Temporary shower units and modular WC blocks can be ordered as standalone facilities or combined with a changing room order, so a site gets changing, showering and toilet facilities from one supplier.

      Are container changing rooms suitable for permanent use, or only temporary sites?

      Container changing rooms and portacabin changing rooms work for both. Some clients use them as a temporary facility while a permanent building is constructed, others keep them in place as the long term changing room solution for a club or site.

      What is involved in siting a modular gym building ?

      Units need a level base, usually hardstanding or a prepared pad, with power connected on site. Because the building is manufactured off site, on site work focuses on groundworks and connections rather than construction.
