The EcoPod 12 Solar Plus is a 6 person mobile welfare unit available to hire or buy from EcoMod. Towed behind a 4×4 or commercial vehicle and set up on hydraulic axles in around 30 seconds, it gives your team a canteen, separate WC and drying room on site, with no mains connection needed to run.
Inside, the canteen area seats 6 around a full worktop with a kettle and microwave, while the WC and drying room sit apart from where people eat. Solar panels and an HVO-compatible diesel heating system cut how often the generator needs to run, so the unit stays quiet and economical whether you’re hiring it for a short contract or buying it outright for ongoing site use.

Does it include a separate office?
Yes. Alongside canteen seating for 7, the EcoPod 16 has its own office with desk space for 1, seating for 2, power sockets and dedicated heating.
How is it powered when the generator isn't running?
Battery power, topped up by the solar panels, covers up to 4 hours of heating or up to 6 hours of LED lighting under optimum use, with the generator off, appliances and hydraulics not in use.
How quickly can it be set up on site?
The hydraulic axle system means the unit can be unhitched, levelled and ready to use in around 30 seconds.
